The Australasian Dining Room

 

Saturday night is our popular PUBLIC dining night at The Australasian Dining Room.

Each month Chef Juliet Michell presents a fresh, Asian-inspired, 3 course set menu. $85 p.p.

For table bookings of more than 12 people we request full food prepayment.

Dress code: be yourself.

On other nights the dining room is PRIVATE – exclusive to houseguests.

Juliet Michell will cook for you even if you are the only couple dining!
Juliet, a qualified Chef and Patissier, will take into consideration any dietary limitations and prepare an Asian-inspired entree, palate cleanser, main and small plated dessert. $89 p.p. Or a larger dessert: $99 p.p.
Otherwise an in-room option is a local produce, grazing platter for 2 people – the equivalent to a large entree and dessert each. $70. (N/A Saturdays).

Saturday Night APRIL Set Menu – $85 per person
6:30/6:45pm (in the bar) 
An arrival glass of “happy bubbles” or cold beer
Entree (in the dining room): Moroccan style tomato & capsicum soup  w chilli prawns
Main (in the dining room): Lamb cutlets w a haloumi, mint & pomegranate salad + saffron rice w toasted almonds
Dessert: Chef Juliet’s dessert treat plate
NB: The April set menu can be tweaked to be gluten free but is unfortunately not dairy or lactose free.

Entree (in the dining room): Baked spiced prawn balls in a tomato masala w crispy curry leaves & yoghurt on the side
Main (in the dining room): Red duck curry w lychees, roasted garlic greens & Jasmine rice
Dessert: Chef Juliet’s dessert treat plate
